-Scissors
-G- 4.00 mm sized Crochet Hook
Stitches Used/Abbreviations

-slst- Slip Stitch
-bo – bobble *
* -Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yo and pull through (three loops on hook), Yo and pull through 2 of the loops.
-Repeat the previous step 3 more times so that you have 4 not-quite-complete dc stitches worked into the same stitch.
-There will be 5 loops on the hook. Yo and pull through all 5 loops to finish!
-mr- Magic Ring
Notes
– The first part is the coaster, and you can either stop there , or continue on to make a potholder.
-Fringe is optional, but I think it adds to the final product!
– Ch 1 does NOT count as a st.
-Ch 2 does NOT count as a st.
-On rounds 7 and 14, make the sc’s after each bobble VERY tight – The single crochet that follows the bobble helps push the bobble towards the front, and is what gives it the texture and shape that it has!
